Dr Kevin Tam graduated with a BSc in Biomedical and Microbiology prior to gaining his Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Queensland. He has been awarded a Diploma with the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine, a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and an Advanced Clinical Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery from the Skin Cancer College Australasia.

He joined the Melanoma Centre after having worked in a variety of rural and urban skin cancer clinics since 2004.

Outside of the clinic, Kevin remains a student in the "University of Life" enjoying all things in life and family.
